Turn iPhone MOV clips into GIFs — locally.

MOV to GIF is the iPhone-clip-to-shareable-loop conversion: screen recordings and camera clips become GIFs that autoplay in docs, chats and anywhere video won't embed. Trim to the seconds that matter, choose width and frame rate, and convert — locally, via FFmpeg in WebAssembly, so the clip never leaves your device.

Frequently asked questions

Why won't some sites accept my MOV directly?

MOV is Apple's container and support outside Apple platforms is patchy. GIF (for short loops) or MP4 (for proper video) are the universal options — our video compressor outputs MP4 if that's the better fit.

My iPhone screen recording converts slowly — why?

Screen recordings are often high resolution (1170×2532+). Set width to 480 px — the encoder works on far fewer pixels and the GIF is dramatically smaller too.
