Signature Generator

Draw your signature and export a transparent PNG.

Loading the interactive tool… It runs in your browser — if it doesn't appear, enable JavaScript.

Draw with whatever you have — trackpad, mouse, finger on a phone, stylus — with stroke smoothing that keeps curves looking like ink rather than polygons. Export as a transparent PNG that drops cleanly onto documents and email signatures, or with a white background where transparency causes trouble.

Your signature is exactly the image you don't want passing through someone's server, so it doesn't: drawing and export are entirely local.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get a smooth signature with a mouse?

Draw larger than you need and slow down — the smoothing handles the jitter, and PNG export keeps it crisp when scaled down in your document. A phone screen with a finger is often easier than a mouse: open this page on your phone and draw there.

Transparent or white background — which do I want?

Transparent for placing over documents, PDFs and email signatures (the page shows through, no white box). White for systems that mishandle transparency or paint it black.

Is an image of my signature legally valid?

In many jurisdictions and contexts, electronic signatures — including drawn images — are accepted (e.g. E-SIGN in the US, eIDAS in the EU), but requirements vary by document type and country. For contracts that matter, a proper e-signing service adds the audit trail; this tool is for the everyday "sign and send back" cases.
