Which grade calculator do I need?
If your syllabus lists categories with percentages — homework 20%, midterm 30%, final 50% — use the weighted grade calculator. If everything is points out of points, use the grade calculator. If you already know your current grade and want the score that gets you to a target, use the final grade calculator. If you just marked a test, use the test score calculator.
Is my grade information stored anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is transmitted or saved. Close the tab and it's gone — which also means bookmark the numbers yourself if you want them later.
Why doesn't my calculated grade match my school's portal?
Usually one of three things: the portal drops your lowest score in a category, it excludes assignments that haven't been graded yet, or extra credit sits outside the weighting. Check the syllabus for those rules first — the maths here is standard, so a mismatch is almost always a policy the calculator can't know about.
Are the citation formats kept up to date?
The generators follow the current published editions of each style. Style guides do revise, and your department may have house rules that override them, so treat the output as a well-formed starting point rather than something to paste without reading.
